Why Markets Are Safe To Attend

There’s nothing better than seeing our industry come together again for live events, and research shows there’s a way to do it safely. According to Epistemix research that was funded in part by SISO, events are not a major driver of increasing COVID cases in most U.S. cities and can be even safer than going to the grocery store, said Epistemix CEO John Cordier. Epistemix research also found that business events are not a driver of positive cases due to higher vaccination rates.

“Our team has had the long-awaited pleasure of once again attending live events since March, including our own Flooring Markets in Dallas, Atlanta, and Biloxi as well as other industry trade shows. We have all been impressed with the safety protocols that have been put in place to make this possible,” says Kathy Sullivan, Director of Sales.

“It was great to see the industry together again at these face-to-face events, and we look forward to welcoming back exhibitors and attendees at our 2022 markets,” adds Angela O’Reilly, Account Executive.

Meeting face-to-face is crucial for the flooring industry, not only to network with industry colleagues and build relationships, but also to and see and touch new product releases. Our 2022 events will continue to follow recommended local, state, and CDC guidelines, and we look forward to bringing our industry together.
